Description

Located right near the Oarai coast, this campground is enveloped by gentle sea breezes, warm sunlight, and an expansive pine forest. Recognized as one of Japan’s “Top 100 Forest Bathing Spots,” the lush pinewoods offer a relaxing environment for a rejuvenating camping experience. We offer a convenient plan where you can enjoy BBQs and campfires without bringing any equipment, and stay overnight in a cozy cabin. No need to worry about weather or temperature—you can camp comfortably in any season. The real charm of this location lies in the serene moments you can spend under the dappled light of the forest, with the distant sound of waves from the Pacific Ocean. It’s a special kind of escape that can only be experienced at the intersection of forest and sea. The campground is fully equipped with warm-water sinks, accessible restrooms, coin-operated showers and laundry machines, and even a foot-washing station for pets. Convenience stores, supermarkets, and home improvement stores are all within walking distance, making shopping easy and stress-free. On the grounds, you'll also find a small museum. Nearby, you can explore popular attractions such as the sacred Kamiiso Torii gate (a spiritual power spot), Oarai Isosaki Shrine, Oarai Beach, the lively seafood market, and an aquarium—making this the perfect destination for both relaxation and adventure.
