Fumotoppara, a campground spread out on a vast grassy plain at the foot of Japan's representative mountain, Mt. Tips

  • Arrive early to claim a good spot at the free campsite—locations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Enjoy free access to baths with artificial hot springs. Toilets and cooking facilities are always clean and well-maintained, making your stay stress-free.
  • The view of Mt. Fuji at sunrise is absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend waking up early, brewing a cup of coffee, and soaking in the spectacular scenery.
  • At night, Mt. Fuji stands silently under a sky full of stars. The warm glow of countless tents creates a magical, dreamlike atmosphere.
  • Local specialties, including gibier (game) meat and original campground goods, are available for purchase. There’s also a shop offering regional snacks, sweets, and alcoholic beverages.
  • The campground is also famous as a location for the anime “Yuru Camp △”. Just like in the anime, there are endless ways to play, such as viewing the upside-down Fuji from the pond and taking pictures with various objects!
  • You can also enjoy a variety of activities such as climbing nearby Mt. Kenashi, hiking, MTB, etc.
